So far, the 2015-16 theatrical season is rating 10 from Boca to Jupiter. The Wick Theatre kicked off in October with the musical comedy, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Then Palm Beach Dramaworks lived up to its name with a stellar cast and production of Picnic, running through November 8. (See Curtain Up Nov. 13)

No need to pack a basket to go on this Picnic. Just get dressed to the nines, and head for the Don & Ann Brown Theatre, 201 Clematis, West Palm Beach. That’s where the 2015/16 season opened for Palm Beach Dramaworks. Director William Hayes zeros in on the William Inge classic, Picnic, which runs through November 8.

Florida currently has 48,000 farms on land that covers 9 million acres. In 2012, our state was number one in the value of production of oranges, grapefruit, market snap beans, market cucumbers, squash, sweet corn, market tomatoes, pickle cucumbers and watermelon.
