Business to Business for Women Luncheon – From Layoff to Payoff

From Layoff to Payoff

by Sharon Quercioli

Sheila Mains, better known as Sheila G, has an amazing story. In 1992, forty-something Sheila was laid off from her CFO position at an industrial advertising agency.

Finding herself at a crossroads, she took stock of her strengths. Her training was in finance. Her passion, though, was baking. So, she traded in bean counting for baking.

Sheila gave a great presentation and shared her journey over the years. Thank you, Sheila, for sharing your story with all of us. It was truly amazing!

Sheila is a huge success story and recently sold Brownie Brittle. Congratulations Sheila! May you enjoy the fruits of your labor of love and live your dream.

Business to Business For Women was founded in 2006 by Nancy Mobberley to help ladies build relationships that would support their growth professionally and personally. The vision was to create an organization unlike any other networking group, with a culture of warmth and intimacy and without the referral requirements of other groups.
