Not all stress is bad….

by Sean Herbert

So you just received a promotion, moved to a new state, bought a new house and your wife is expecting twins….you couldn’t be happier!!!!

…You’ve got this!

Now is the time to make a “LIFESTYLE ENERGY PLAN!”

How you fuel your life is extremely important. Most people live to eat. Exceptional people Eat to LIVE!

Allow me to introduce you to SPROUTS…The most nutritious food on the planet!

Sprouts are simply the baby plants bursting with the energy for growth. They are little alkaline batteries fueled by the energy of the sun. Sprouts contain anywhere from 10-50 times the nutritional content of their adult plants. A great example are Broccoli Sprouts-one ounce of these little babies contain a comparable nutritional content of eating a pound and a half of adult broccoli! Compared to their adult counterpart, Broccoli Sprouts also contain an exponential amount of the cancer-fighting phytochemical sulphorofane. Mom was right… Eat your broccoli!

So let’s talk about ENERGY! Sprouts absorb the sun’s energy by a process called photosynthesis, and turns that energy into a green liquid, or the blood of the plant called chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is literally one atom different than hemoglobin in your blood. Hemoglobin carries oxygen and energy to your cells, which in turn allows the body to heal and regenerate. Chlorophyll has been called “Nature’s Greatest Healer.”

So, if Sprouts are the most nutritious food on the planet, and Chlorophyll is Nature’s Greatest Healer…which Sprout contains the most Chlorophyll?

The Answer is Grass!

Now grass is grass…meaning I could go out and cut lawn clippings and juice them up, and they’d be just as good for you as wheatgrass…so why does everyone love wheatgrass? It has a sweetness that makes it taste good. Wheatgrass contains roughly 102 vitamins and minerals, 92 actually come from the soil it is grown in…So I always recommend growing wheatgrass in soil. Wheatgrass has 11 times more calcium than cow’s milk, 7 times more vitamin C than oranges, 5 times more iron than spinach, and twice as much vitamin A than carrots! Just juicing 2 ounces of wheatgrass in the morning is said to be nutritionally equivalent to eating 5 lbs. of fresh vegetables. I call wheatgrass “Nature’s Medicine Cabinet.”

These are just a few examples of the benefits of Sprouts. Sprouts regulate blood sugar and help with weight loss. Sprouts are a natural detoxifier cleansing the blood, boosting the immune system and allowing the body to heal and regenerate. Sprouts are anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, a natural Pre-biotic and are high in fiber to help cleanse the digestive tract. Most people in America today spend half of their energy each day digesting their food. Sprouts contain their own digestive enzymes to make them assimilate to the body more easily. What would you do with 50% more energy each day?
