The 2013 Woman of the Year luncheon presented by the Hanley Center was held on Tuesday, October 22nd at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott and was hosted by the Northern Palm Beach County’s Women in Business Council.
The Woman of the Year Award honors the woman who has attained and personified the highest level of professional excellence in business and the community. This year there were many extraordinary nominees, including:

Congratulations go out to Pamela Rauch for winning this prestigious honor! Pamela is Vice President of Development and External Affairs for Florida Power & Light Company, one of the nation’s leading electric utilities. In this role, she is responsible for oversight of local government relations, community relations, economic development and new generation development for FPL.
The Master of Ceremonies was WPTV Channel 5 Anchor and Reporter Shannon Cake. Taking time out from their special day together, Shannon attended the event accompanied by her father. She did a remarkable job, and the Women in Business Council and all those in attendance truly appreciated her services.
The Women in Business Council was founded 2002 by the Jupiter Juno Tequesta Chamber of Commerce and is now a part of the merged Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. The mission of the council is to promote networking and education for professional women and female entrepreneurs while highlighting the women leaders in the community.
