Mary Simses
The Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce Women in Business council hosted their 2013 Annual Tea, Wednesday, August 28th at Frenchman’s Reserve Country Club.
The Women in Business Council was pleased to have author Mary Simses.
Mary Simses grew up in Darien, Connecticut and spent most of her life in New England, where she worked in the magazine publishing field and, later, as a corporate attorney. She wrote fiction “on the side” for many years, and several of her short stories have appeared in literary magazines. Mary now lives with her husband – who also happens to be her law partner – and their daughter in Palm Beach.
She enjoys photography and listening to jazz standards. She also makes a fine blueberry muffin. The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe is her first novel.
