On Tuesday December 18, Localecopia hosted another successful Meet & Greet at the renowned Breakers Resort in Palm Beach. More than 50 tables with local producers’ foods and products were displayed, and Sharon Quercioli, President of OWW Media and Entertainment, held a book signing for her new recipe book, Eating To Live Well.

A Refresher About Localecopia

In 2007 we started Localecopia, Inc. This 501c3 non-profit organization was launched on the principles of eliminating the disconnect between local producers and consumers that had developed over a long period of time. It was also launched with the idea of bringing together like-minded individuals to advance efforts of environmental sustainability initiatives.

In 2012, our state was number one in the value of production of oranges, grapefruit, market snap beans, market cucumbers, squash, sweet corn, market tomatoes, pickle cucumbers and watermelon. We also ranked second in bell peppers, strawberries and tangerines.
