Valerie Staggs Author of “This Side of Heaven”

On Wednesday, July 5, the Business to Business for Women had the privilege of having a presentation by Valerie Staggs, Head Person at Ryan William’s Agency, and author of “This Side of Heaven.” This Side of Heaven chronicles the lives of Valerie and her son Ryan as they struggle to survive the aftermath of her husband’s death and how they had to navigate in an unfamiliar world. Valerie is also the founder of Pandora’s Kids, a nonprofit organization that supports families in grief. Thank you Valerie for a great presentation!
We also would like to recognize Marcia Goodwin from our charity “Stand Down” whose mission is “Reintegrating displaced and at-risk veterans and their families back into the communities to sustain independent living, restoring their dignity and promoting community awareness.” We donated a check for $500 from our 50/50 drawing.
