On March 31 at the posh Old Marsh Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, the Hanley Center Foundation welcomed participating golfers to the 2014 Hanley Center Golf Classic. An elegant breakfast buffet kicked off the day’s events at 7:30 am with a shotgun start officially opening the day to eighteen holes on one of the most challenging and beautiful golf courses in South Florida. Following the tournament, guests enjoyed a festive luncheon and awards ceremony. First, second and third place winners received what can only be described as premier awards. In grand fashion, an exclusive silent auction concluded the day. The auction featured an impressive selection of fine items that were carefully chosen with golfers in mind.
Proceeds from the Hanley Center Golf Classic went directly to the Hanley Center Lifesaver Patient Aid Fund. The fund has provided vital financial assistance to thousands of individuals seeking treatment for alcoholism and chemical dependency who could not otherwise afford treatment.
